The Centre Culturel Frédéric Beigbeder offers various one-week residential workshops for travelers who want to learn the typical Malian arts and crafts. For groups, customized workshop on other topics can be arranged on request.
For 7 days and 6 nights you're a guest at the Sandcastle, where you stay in the guesthouse or in a traditional touareg style nomad tent. All classes are conducted by master craftsmen from Mali, and take place in the mornings. The afternoons are free to spend as you like. Individual attention is guaranteed as each workshop hosts a maximum of 8 to 10 people.

In Mali, sports are considered an art form. Our program therefore includes two adventurous activities for sports lovers: a week on the water and a bicycle tour of Mali.
